Historical GIS-Seminar

Coordinated by Konrad Berner, Dr. Kilian Schultes and Dr. Roland Wenzlhuemer

Originally planned for one semester (winter term 2009/10), the HGIS-Seminar now runs since four semesters (HGIS 0.1 - HGIS 0.4) incl. some workshops. The seminar combined the discussion on the "spacial turn" in the Humanities in general, the use of GIS in historical research (HGIS) on best-practise examples and practical work on several (small) projects based on GeoTWAIN and Historical GIS.
