Chinese Women's Magazines - Screencast added

The project has produced a screencast that introduces main features of the website including browsing journals, metadata and subjects, as well as the search function.

A screencast is a digital recording of what is shown on a computers monitor, also called "video screen capture". It is a film showing the projects website in use.

The "Chinese Women's Magazines from the Late Qing and Early Republican Periods" website provides rich annotations of four important journals from the first half or the 20th century. It records comprehensive data in English and Chinese on the contents of these magazines including titles and authors of articles, captions on photographs, and advertisement headings, together with metadata crucial to research on these materials including keywords, genres, and biographical information.
