About Yujie Zhu
Yujie Zhu earned his Master degree at UNESCO Chair of World Heritage Studies at Brandenburg University, Cottbus (Germany), in 2007. Since his Master study, he started to develop his professional career in the field of heritage conservation and sustainable development. Up till today, he has participated in several empirical and academic research projects at world heritage sites in China and Europe. As a result, he was awarded as “World Heritage Youth Manager” by UNESCO for his dedicated and successful work on heritage conservation. Yujie Zhu also worked on Sustainable Development of Tourism for UNWTO, and on Cultural Resource Database in West China for the Chinese National Academy of Arts. His professional work has resulted in several project reports, publications, and conference presentations.
