About Ulrich Flick
Ulrich Flick studied Japanese Studies and Classical Chinese Studies from 2001 to 2009 at Heidelberg University, Beijing Foreign Studies University, and Tokyo Gakugei University.
After graduation from the master programme he became member of the Project A8 "Teaching Identity: Re-shaping the Citizen in Chinese and Japanese Language History Schoolbooks in Manchuria (1931-1945)" in the Cluster of Excellence "Asia and Europe in a Global Context" as Ph.D. Candidate since September 2009.
Since September 2010 research stay at Waseda University/Tokyo.
