Education:

2015 PhD, Institute of Chinese Studies, University of Heidelberg, Germany. Thesis title: “Body Un/Dis-Covered: Luoti, Editorial Agency and Transcultural Production in Chinese Pictorials (1925-1933)", in English. See abstract.

Work Experience:

07/2012-Present     Database Content Manager of the project "Early Chinese Periodicals Online," led by Prof. Barbara Mittler in cooperation with Prof. Chienming Yu, Academia Sinica in Taiwan. Financed by Chiang Ching-kuo Foundation. 

04/2011- present    Assistant Professor (part time) at the Institute of Chinese Studies, University of Heidelberg.

06/2009-12/2011  Project coordinator and supervisor for the database “Chinese Women's Magazine in the Late Qing and Early Republican Period”, part of Heidelberg Research Architecture (HRA 8) funded by the German Research Foundation (DFG) and TransCoop-program funded by SSHRC/Humboldt Foundation.
