Since 2009: Postdoctoral Researcher, Project “Aspects of Authenticity in Architectural Heritage Conservation” (D4) within the Cluster of Excellence “Asia and Europe in a Global Context”, University of Heidelberg
2006 - 2009: Ph.D. student at the Department of European Art History, University of Heidelberg; Doctorate “The Neoclassical Residences of the Newars in Nepal. Transcultural Flows in the Early 20th Century Architecture of the Kathmandu Valley”

1999 - 2006: European Art History (focus: History of Architecture, Building Research) and German Language and Literature Studies (M.A.) at the University of Heidelberg and University of Bern, Switzerland
