About Simon Gruening

Simon Gruening studied European Art History and Religious Studies at Heidelberg University and graduated 2010. He wrote his Master's thesis on a comparision of English medieval manuscript illustrations (London, British Library, Harley 3954) with contemporary horror films to analyse the strategies of generating fears in the illuminations. Currently he is a research assistant at the Heidelberg Research Architecture.
