since 10/2008: Cluster of Excellence "Asia and Europe in a Global Context", responsible for visual resources in the Heidelberg Research Architecture (HRA) 

10/2007 - 09/2008: ½ FTE: “Visual database of Chinese characters engraved in Shandong, China”, in cooperation with the Heidelberg Academy of Sciences. Research grant (2 years), Funded by the Chiang Ching-Kuo Foundation for International Scholarly Exchange, Taipei. 

04/2007 - 10/2007: Digital resources (TLS, databases), Institute of Chinese Studies 

05/2005 - 09/2008: ½ FTE: IT-department Institute of Chinese Studies, Center of Asian Studies, Heidelberg University, since 2006 IT-department of the Center of East Asian Studies (ZO). Permanent post (currently on leave).
