Fuess Negotiates Double Degree with Kyoto

Prof. Harald Fuess, who holds a bridge professorship with Kyoto University, negotiated an agreement for a Joint M.A. Degree Agreement in Transcultural Studies on behalf of Heidelberg University. This is the first joint degree between a Japanese and a European university in the Humanities and Social Sciences. It is supported by the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) through its double degree program. Rector Prof. Bernhard Eitel of Heidelberg University signed the agreement and the first group of students will enroll at Heidelberg in the winter semester 2017/2018.
