Various Media report about exhibition

A number of mass media report about the exhibition "Von Atlantis bis heute - Mensch. Natur. Katastrophe". The show is based on the findings of research project "Images of Disasters", coordinated by Prof. Gerrit J. Schenk and Prof. Monica Juneja. It is covered by various magazines, national newspapers as well as TV and radio stations.

German national weekly newspaper Die ZEIT published a detailed article on two pages about "disasters" quoting Prof. Juneja and Prof. Schenk. Newspaper Die Welt reports on the exhibition featuring statements by Prof. Juneja and Prof. Schenk. Radio station Suedwestrundfunk (SWR) interviewed Prof. Schenk in its programme SWR2 IMPULS.

Newspaper Stuttgarter Zeitung covered the topic on the title and reports on the exhibition, mentioning Uni Heidelberg in the report. Newspaper Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung (FAZ) also reports about the exhibition, mentioning the Cluster "Asia and Europe".

TV station 3sat also reports on the exhibition. Furthermore, Italian Newspaper La gazzetta di Sondrio reports about the exhibition. Newspaper Badische Zeitung also reports on the exhibition in a full-page report.

Radio stations Deutschlandradio Kultur reports twice on the exhibition. Radio station SR2, as well as newspaper Schwäbisches Tagblatt also report on the exhibition.

TV station Rhein-Neckar-Fernsehen (RNF) reports on the exhibition in its programme RNF Life. Radio stations Deutschlandfunk and Radio Regenbogen also report on the exhibition. Newspaper Zollern-Alb-Kurier reports on the exhibition.

Newspaper Rhein-Neckar-Zeitung reports on the exhibition, featuring statements of Prof. Schenk and Prof. Juneja. Newspaper Mannheimer Morgen introduces the exhibition in a report featuring Prof. Juneja and Prof. Schenk.

The history magazines DAMALS, P.M. History published cover features on the topic "disasters" with up to seven extensive articles in their September issues. Also G/Geschichte covered the topic on the title and interviewed Prof. Gerrit J. Schenk in the June issue. National newspaper Bild published theme reports on "disasters in Germany" at their portable app. National Geographic Deutschland announced the exhibition in August.

The exhibition "Von Atlantis bis heute - Mensch. Natur. Katastrophe" takes place from September 7, 2014, to March 1, 2015. It is organised by the historian and disaster expert Prof. Dr. Gerrit J. Schenk (TU Darmstadt) and the global art historian Prof. Dr. Monica Juneja (Heidelberg) on behalf of research project D17 "Images of Disasters" in cooperation with Dr. Christoph Lind of the Reiss-Engelhorn Museums of Mannheim.
