Cooperation with Harvard University

Various international institutions cooperate with the Cluster of Excellence "Asia and Europe in a Global Context". One of the Cluster's key partners is Harvard University's Asia Center.

The cooperation between Harvard University´s Asia Center and the Cluster of Excellence “Asia and Europe in a Global Context” includes joint conferences and publications, as well as visiting lectures and common research projects. 

The Asia Centre at Harvard University was established 1997. The centre is an active organisation with varied programmes focusing on International Relations in Asia and Comparative Studies of Asian countries and regions. It reflects Harvard's commitment to Asia and the growing connections between Asian nations. The Asia Centre's various programmes focus on international relations in Asia and comparative studies of Asian countries. Its interdisciplinary approach brings together the University's departments and schools. 

Harvard University is a private Ivy League university located in Cambridge and Boston, Massachusetts, U.S. Established in 1636, Harvard is the oldest institution of higher education in the United States. The University has an enrollment of over 20,000 degree candidates, including undergraduate, graduate, and professional students.
