Workshop: "Readings in Chinese Buddhism"

Organiser: Professorship of Buddhist Studies

This workshop will be led by Alan Wagner (East Asian Civilisations Research Centre, CRCAO, CNRS / Collège de France) and Michael Radich (professor of Buddhist Studies at the HCTS), and will focus upon a close reading of the Jueding zongchi jing 決定總持經 T811, in conjunction with parallel texts in Tibetan and Chinese. The topic of the text is the misdeed of slandering the Buddha and his Dharma.
