Sandra Bärnreuther was nominated for a Fulbright scholarship to study for a full academic year at New York University.

Sandra Bärnreuther was nominated for a Fulbright scholarship to study at New York University for a full academic year. The Fulbright scholarship is one of the most prestigious awards worldwide.

She also won the “SAI Advancement Award 2010” of the “Association of Friends and Patrons of the South Asia Institute“ for her M.A. thesis on “Birth in Ladakh”. The award is bestowed annually for outstanding academic works.

Sandra Bärnreuther is a PhD student and member of the subproject C4 “Making India a Global Healthcare Destination" at the Cluster of Excellence "Asia and Europe in a Global Context".
