It is located at the Karl Jaspers Centre for Advanced Transcultural Studies in Heidelberg, Germany, and has a branch office in New Delhi, India.

Tamboti is a modular open source platform supporting collaborative research in the Humanities. It is developed by the Heidelberg Research Architecture (HRA). As the Cluster’s Digital Humanities unit, the HRA closely cooperates with scholars and students from the field of Transcultural Studies as well as external cooperation partners.
