Press and Public Relations

The Press and Public Relations Office is responsible for the public image and branding of the Cluster. Its most important areas are Media Relations, Corporate Publishing and Online Communication. Most recently, Internal Communication has been added. In addition, the Press and Public Relations manages the Cluster’s film team and builds up a strong network of contacts in politics and economics.

Among many other responsibilities and innovations, the Press and Public Relations Office has developed the corporate identity of the Cluster as well as numerous information, materials and media ranging from brochures, folders, flyers and calendars to the newsletter, website, Facebook page and YouTube channel. As a result, various media have reported about the increasingly popular Cluster and its members.

The Public Relations Office can assist you in promoting your research project or conferences. In particular, it can help you to publish news on the Cluster website or in the newsletter, provide you with templates to create posters, folders and presentations, and give training for media interviews. Furthermore, the PR Office offers internships, various seminars as well as a number of books and magazines on communication and media.

The Public Relations Office is also in charge of the maintenance of the Cluster website and of setting up the basic project sites for the Cluster members. It offers an introduction to the content management system Typo3 as well as an informative tutorial. Upon request, the Web Team will give you advice and further training on advanced issues.
