PhD project (since March 2013): Collectives, localities and networks in the emerging contemporary art scenes of Nepal and Bangladesh

Magister thesis (2012): Heading for New Shores – A Biography of Boats from the River to the Living Room

Research interests: material culture and its representation - the formation, (re)presentation and commodification of heritage - Anthropology of Art and Contemporary Art - representation of art and culture in museums or 'museum-like' facilities - museum practice



Since October 2014: PhD candidate in the Graduate Program for Transcultural Studies (GPTS 6) at the Cluster of Excellence "Asia and Europe in a Global Context"
