Jason W. Moore

Jason W. Moore is a world historian who writes on the history of capitalism, including the crises of the 21st century. His essays have appeared in Theory & Society, The Journal of Peasant Studies, The Journal of Agrarian Change, Antipode, Review, and many other journals, and have been translated into Chinese, Turkish, German, Korean, Portuguese, Spanish, and Italian. He is presently completing Ecology and the Rise of Capitalism (University of California Press) and Ecology and the Accumulation of Capital (Verso). He is the coordinator of the World-Ecology Research Network, and a member of the editorial boards of the Journal of World-Systems Research, The Journal of Agrarian Change, and Review.
